Financial Operations Supervisor

Summary
The Financial Operations Supervisor will oversee members of the Financial Operations team as well as perform financial analysis, escalation of issues, and reporting functions for MarketSource's Business Units. Collaborates with Client Services, Back Office Departments, and Accounting to ensure accurate data and financial management of assigned programs. The Financial Operations Supervisor is proficient in the financial administration of programs; this includes budgeting and forecasting, and ad hoc reporting.
Essential Job Functions:Provides supervision and development to Financial Operations Group which includes overseeing Lead Financial Analysts and Financial Analysts in the successful performance of monthly activities including assisting with month end close, reporting, P&L analysis and forecastingCoordinates the overall budget preparation as well as rolling forecasts, financial reports and variance explanations for respective programsPerforms financial analysis for assigned programs with monthly reportingImplement monthly reporting and analysis of programs, including P&L review, month end results, and variance analysis with program leadershipProfitability analysis of ongoing programsUnderstand Agreement amendments/modifications and incorporate changes for customer support, financial analysisPartners with Sales, Delivery and Practice Leads to review new business opportunities and create pricing proposals for prospects in Sales pipelineRecommend actions to Program leadership through analyzing and interpreting dataLead and coordinate team projectsTakes lead in ensuring implementation of new clients is completed accurately and on time.Responsible for identifying needs and making recommendations for all hiring, training, and performance management of team members.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Proven ability to lead team projects both within Finance and cross functionallyStrong interpersonal skills with ability to work in a team environment in which open/honest communication is expectedStrong financial and business acumenStrong analytical and problem solving skillsMust be agile and able to adapt to changes in the workplaceMust be detailed orientedMust have the ability to build and maintain strong relationshipsStrong communication skills (verbal and written) with an emphasis on customer service.Ability to communicate to a diverse audience in non-financial termsStrong organizational, multi-tasking skills and the ability to follow through on tasksWorking knowledge and proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, and OracleAbility to work independentlyGoal driven and strong work ethicDisplays Company Core Values and CompetenciesJob Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business (Accounting or Finance preferred)2-4 years of financial operations/analysis or accounting experience.Four (4) in-office workdays per week and the option to work one (1) additional day remotely or in the office
