Job Description
The Cost Accounting Manager is an integral part of the Finance team serving as a business partner to the rest of the organization.
Develop and enhance the costing function and own the production variances and continuous improvement items around these variances.Provide insight into the product margins and variances.Develop product line P/L's, determine what customers and product lines are profitable and recommend ways to improve profitability.Improve efficiency's and reduce costs.Automate and deploy KPI reportingHelp the organization become highly data centric with easy to access real time information.Ensure cycle counts and other internal controls are followed and adhered to in regards to costing.Grow into an FP&A lead role in the future.Entrepreneurial mindset when in developing key costing initiativesMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. 5+ years experience in a manufacturing/costing roleMust be willing to get their hands dirty and wear a variety of different hatsAbility to work in a fast paced environmentMust have a growth mindsetMotivated by a performance cultureAbility to work cross functionally within the organizationIs highly autonomous and self-directed.Is comfortable in a very direct and candid environment focused on results.No surprises approach; transparency on financial issues.Team player that has ability to create follower-ship.What's on Offer
