The A.C. Coy company has an immediate opening for a Manager - Cost Accounting. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, experience using a larger ERP such as Oracle or SAP, and experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and conduct month end close procedures

Tracking, preparing, and ensuring the integrity of inventory reports

Drive the effort to identify and execute unit cost reduction efforts

Lead financial audits

Supervise and mentor direct reports and ensure their professional development

Evaluate long-term commercial contracts

Act as an expert with strategic margins, Oracle, and Hyperion

Lead the annual budget process and review burden rates

Provide accurate decision support to facilitate business solutions

QualificationsEducation Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

CPA/MBA/CMA preferred

Experience Required

5 years of accounting experience, with several years of cost accounting including standard costing systems and budgets

Experience with large ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP

Experience in a manufacturing environment

Experience with data base query tools such as Access, Hyperion, Essbase, etc.
