ENTEK is seeking applications for a
Human Resources Generalist
role to join us on-site at our Henderson, Nevada (relocation within 40 miles of Henderson is required).
We are looking to round out our team and find a Human Resources Generalist who enjoys data analysis, has strong systems-thinking and problem-solving skills, keen eye for detail, and has a passion for process improvement. Ideally, you will have a strong understanding of HR processes and HRIS systems, as well as have some background in benefits, recruitment, employee relations, and/or payroll.
As a Human Resources Generalist, you will be one of the go-to contacts to support our phenomenal employees throughout their lifecycle at ENTEK. This is a chance for you to utilize your skills and be a part of a dynamic team that supports ENTEK's employees in Oregon, Nevada, California, and across the country. Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Three (3) years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.A creative mindset and a knack for thinking outside the box to solve unique challenges.Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality.Satisfactory results from a pre-employment drug screen.[Satisfactory results from a pre-employment background check.Preferred Qualifications
Five (5) years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.Five (5) or more years of experience with HRIS administration, maintenance, and optimization.HR experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Degree in Human Resources or a related field or four (4) additional years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.SHRM or HRCI certification.Experience working in manufacturing or an equivalent environment.
Working Environment
The typical hours for this role are Monday through Friday, starting at 7:00 am.
The employee in this role is required to sit for extended periods of time, and is frequently required to stand and walk, as well as talk, hear, and complete tasks that require reaching and finger dexterity. This role may require the employee to occasionally move and handle objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
The role primarily works in an office environment but may occasionally need to visit the manufacturing floor, which will require wearing eye and hearing PPE and may expose the incumbent to fumes or airborne particles and chemicals in the plant environment.
