The candidate will be working on accounts and projects across the financial spectrum, ranging from retail banks and institutional asset managers to alternative asset managers and fintech clients.We’re looking for a growth-oriented team member who understands business strategy and can contribute to and expand the ongoing growth and development of our team and practice. The candidate must also demonstrate a passion and ability for people development by mentoring, motivating, teaching, and coaching others.

Lead multiple client accounts/projects with a focus on setting strategic direction and plans to help clients achieve goalsDeliver superior written communications for external and internal audiencesPlan and coordinate strategic communications programs, including earned and social media, executive positioning, and owned content strategiesCollaborate with senior leadership in identifying and developing opportunities for account growthDrive new business growth by identifying prospects and leading proposalsPartner with Edelman marketing to produce intellectual property and eventsSupervise team members by motivating, coaching, and consistently providing feedbackServe as daily client contact, addressing timely client issues thoughtfully and effectivelyBuild and manage relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels as well as third parties and internal business partners to meet client needsBasic Qualifications:
At least 6+ years of relevant experience in Communications Marketing and/or related fieldsA bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experiencePreferred Qualifications:
Have effectively managed multiple sizable accounts or work streams, including financialsExperience interfacing with senior executives, served as the daily client contact, and/or demonstrate solid client interaction skillsProven ability to consistently make sound judgments, have superior written and verbal communications skillsHave driven new business proposalsEffectively motivate and manage teams and collaborate wellPAY RANGE: $133,000 - $178,000An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees.
