Role Overview:

As an Intermediate-to-Senior Oracle DBA at LATG, you will be responsible for the sustainment, configuration, security, and maintenance of Oracle Database Management Systems (DBMS) within a dynamic and mission-driven environment. You will collaborate with a team to ensure cybersecurity compliance, perform software upgrades, and provide user support for critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Oracle DBMS Sustainment & Configuration:

Evaluate cybersecurity compliance of Oracle DBMS against DISA STIG, implement security updates, and maintain system administration guides. Cybersecurity Support:

Assist in the analysis, development, and implementation of enhanced security integrations, ensuring full STIG compliance. Software Upgrade Support:

Perform Oracle DBMS software upgrades on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and assist with database migration to new hardware and software environments. Maintenance & Support:

Provide installation, patching, and troubleshooting support for Oracle DBMS. Resolve user issues, perform password resets, and modify schema in collaboration with software teams. Geospatial Services Support:

Maintain geospatial gateways and provide support for Oracle Spatial Engine, ensuring seamless database connectivity for software projects. Documentation & Compliance:

Maintain comprehensive documentation of Oracle DBMS architecture, security configurations, and backup processes. Key Skills & Experience Required:

Active

SECRET clearance with T3 investigation. Education/Certification:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or IAT/IAM II Certification (e.g., Sec+). Technical Expertise: Strong experience with Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS), including Oracle DBMS and PostgreSQL. Hands-on experience with Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) services and Oracle Spatial Engine. Proficiency in implementing cybersecurity measures and maintaining compliance with DISA STIG guidelines. Familiarity with RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) for Oracle DBMS operations. Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to present technical updates to government clients.
