Senior Employment Attorney - New Opportunity in Los Angeles, CAAMLaw 100 Firm is looking for a Senior Employment Attorney
to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. This is a non-partnership track role ideal for an attorney with a deep understanding of employment law and California Labor Code, combined with extensive litigation experience.Qualifications:
Education:Juris Doctor (JD)Bar Admission:Licensed to practice in CaliforniaExperience:Minimum 8 years of experience in labor and employment law, including litigation, transactional work, and providing advice and counselStrong knowledge of state and federal employment laws, including wage and hour laws, the California Labor Code, and experience practicing in state and federal courts/agenciesExperience in defending class and collective actions, as well as PAGA claimsExperience supporting transactional groups in complex deals and providing daily advice to a diverse client baseKey Responsibilities:
Litigation Management:
Manage litigation involving class action and single-plaintiff cases, including issues related to wage and hour claims, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, misclassification, wrongful termination, and more.Transactional Work:
Advise on employment matters related to corporate transactions, conduct employment due diligence, and draft and negotiate employment-related agreements.Counseling & Advice:
Provide day-to-day counsel on reductions in force, restrictive covenants, employee mobility, compensation practices, commission plans, policies, training, and leave practices.Skills & Competencies:
Strong analytical and writing skillsAttention to detail and sound business judgmentExcellent organizational and management skillsAbility to influence and communicate persuasivelyDemonstrated oral and written communication skillsEffective research and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work both collaboratively and independentlyGeneral & Essential Job Expectations:
Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and third partiesProduce high-quality work products and deliverables on timeRespond promptly to calls and correspondenceMeet deadlines and manage tasks efficientlyAdhere to firm policies and foster positive working relationshipsParticipate in digital/virtual meetings and occasional in-person meetingsEngage in both physical and sedentary activities, including extended computer useWork Environment:

The expected annual salary range for this position in California is
$250,000 – $375,000 , based on various factors, including geographic market, skills, background, and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan.Application Process:
