Are you an experienced attorney with 4-5 years of expertise in commercial litigation and product liability matters? AmLaw Firm 100 is looking for a dedicated and motivated attorney to join our Los Angeles, CA office. This role offers the opportunity to handle diverse and challenging cases with a strong focus on client service and professional growth.
Qualifications:Education:
Juris Doctor (JD)
Bar Admission:
Licensed to practice in California
Experience:
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in commercial litigation and product liability
Prior law firm experience in insurance litigation
Key Competencies & Desired Skills:
Proficiency in analyzing coverage issues and drafting comprehensive coverage analysis and position letters
Strong knowledge and experience in investigating cases, drafting discovery demands, responses, and motions, as well as litigating coverage and other insurance-related disputes
Extensive experience with court hearings, mediations, and trials
Ability to advise clients on business decisions related to litigation matters
Significant experience with discovery, including depositions
Excellent analytical and writing skills
Strong attention to detail and business judgment
Superior organizational skills with the ability to multitask
Capable of working collaboratively or independently
Effective communication skills, both oral and written
Strong research and problem-solving abilities
Proven leadership and persuasive communication skills
General & Essential Job Expectations:
Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and third parties
Produce deliverables efficiently and respond promptly to correspondence
Provide accurate, high-quality work within deadlines
Foster positive working relationships across teams
Adhere to firm policies and practices
Engage in sedentary and physical tasks, such as prolonged computer work, virtual meetings, and occasional in-person meetings
Complete all assigned duties, tasks, and projects
Uphold the firm’s values and commitment to excellence
Work Environment:
Hybrid work environment with some travel required
Pay Transparency:The expected annual salary range for this position in California is $200,000 – $250,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
