Senior Employment Attorney - New Opportunity - Los Angeles, CAWe are looking for a Senior Employment Attorney on a non-partnership track, to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience in employment law, litigation, and have a strong understanding of the California Labor Code.

Responsibilities
The Senior Attorney will manage litigation, conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and handle other litigation-related tasks for both class action and single plaintiff cases. This includes matters involving alleged meal and rest period violations, failure to pay wages and/or bonuses, off-the-clock work, misclassification, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, breach of contract, and wrongful termination. Additionally, the role involves:
Conducting employment due diligence and advising on employment aspects of corporate transactions.
Drafting and negotiating employment, termination/severance, and related agreements.
Providing counsel on reductions in force.
Addressing issues related to restrictive covenants, employee mobility, compensation practices, commission plans, employee policies/training, and leave practices.
Experience
Minimum 8 years of experience in labor and employment, including litigation, transactional, and advice and counsel work.
Strong knowledge of state and federal employment laws, including wage and hour laws, the California Labor Code, discrimination laws, and practice before state and federal court and agencies.
Experience in the defense of class and collective actions, as well as PAGA claims, support our transactional group with respect to complex deals, and provide day to day advice and counsel to our wide range of clients.

Pay Transparency:The expected annual pay range for this position, if hired to work in California is $250,000 – $375,000 per year. The compensation offered to a candidate selected for employment will be dependent upon various factors, including the candidate’s geographic market, skills, educational and professional background, experience, and overall qualifications.
