JOB SUMMARY

Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President, the Executive Assistant provides executive administrative support to the EVP and EVPs team. The Executive Assistant serves as the primary point of contact for the EVP. The Executive Assistant should be creative, flexible, enjoy working with a busy/energetic team, be purpose and culture-focused, results-driven and have the ability to use good judgment. This position will juggle multiple projects and handle a wide variety of duties and projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Key Responsibilities)Be point "go to" person information that comes from EVP and team.Act as extension of EVP, in multiple ways, including anticipating scheduling challenges and opportunities, anticipating travel needs and potential adjustments, serving as liaison with administrative assistant peers, Leadership Team, franchisees and other marketing team members.Represent EVP in Support Center project meetings and provide materials as needed. Assist in, attend, and take notes in key department projects and meetings as requested by or for the EVP.Point of contact to Denny's Franchise Association, outside agency teams and other Denny's departments.Create, collect and/or summarize materials as needed, such as presentations, briefs, communications, power point presentations and spreadsheets.Extensive and proactive calendar management for EVP and ensure that all meeting requests are promptly responded to and communicated proactively.Position is responsible for event planning and coordination of meetings, and other events as assigned.Schedule and coordinate travel, lodging, meals and logistics for EVP (and others in the department as needed).Answer phone calls and emails for EVP and provide assistance and/or direction to callers to ensure prompt resolution to any needs or inquiries.Provide administrative support for projects coming from EVP.Work closely with Finance and oversee the EVP quarterly and yearly budgets as well as assist others in the department as needed.Assist or lead coordination of EVP meetings, such as lodging, logistics, communication; schedule staff, 1:1, and other local/corporate meetings as requested by EVP.Complete expense reports, including reconciling T&E and American Express account, in a timely manner for EVP.Process all corporate and field marketing invoices requiring EVP signature.Order office supplies, soft drinks/supplies for conference room (weekly), and meeting lunches as needed.Travel 1-2 times a year for Corporate Events.Other duties as assigned.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Associate's degree strongly preferred.Minimum 10 years of experience in an administrative or comparable position with previous executive level administrative experience strongly preferred.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills a must.Proactive approach to all responsibilities with excellent follow-through.Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.Flexible and able to anticipate EVP and department needs.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Microsoft Office Suite knowledge required (PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint)Self-motivated in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency required.Ability to work under tight and changing deadlines.Ability to keep things confidentialExperience supporting high level individuals with Legal, Finance, or HR departmentsSupporting high level - executives in a publicly traded company is a plus
