Job Description
Prepare calculations and review U.S. international tax returns, including relevant forms and components such as subpart F, GILTI, FDII, BEAT, FTC, CbyC, and tax basis.Compile and organize international data for external advisors to assist in preparing Partnership and C corporation tax returns. Proactively collaborate with the corporate accounting team and local controllers to gather necessary data for filings.Support the preparation and review of documentation for global tax provisions and financial reporting.Stay informed about changes in global tax legislation to assess and communicate their potential impacts on the organization's tax position.Assist with special projects, including transfer pricing, tax planning initiatives, fund repatriation, cash management, and audits by tax authorities.Contribute to the development of tax compliance processes concerning newly enacted OECD Pillar 2 regulations in various jurisdictions.Evaluate tax implications for U.S. and international business initiatives, including income tax and indirect tax, and assess permanent establishment risks through research and collaboration with local tax advisors and business teams.Manage assigned projects/tasks, ensuring effective communication regarding project status, proper documentation, and consistent follow-up until completion.. The Successful Applicant
Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting.Relevant Work Experience
1-2 years of experience with a focus on international income tax matters.Familiarity with transfer pricing, tax treaties, and cross-border transactions.Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.Certification / Licensure
Preferred: Master's in Taxation (MST), CPA, or J.D.Additional Requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., using functions, adjusting column widths, inserting charts, and utilizing sorting and formatting features).Knowledge of pivot tables and VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP functions is a plus but not mandatory.Candidates should be organized, motivated self-starters with strong attention to detail, able to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Excellent interpersonal skills for communication with colleagues and external advisors, both written and verbal, are essential, along with a professional demeanor.Experience with SAP and tax provision software is beneficial but not required.
