Position Summary
Performs specific technical duties of a radiation therapist and provide assistance for the proper functioning of the department.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job
Utilizes all electronic systems effectively and appropriately.Assists with clerical duties.Demonstrates the required technical knowledge to perform quality imaging for all diagnostic exams and procedures while providing quality patient care and safety.Performs quality imaging appropriate to patients of all ages and conditions.Assures appropriate patient identification is performed and indication and history for exam is documented.Ensures patient and family education is accomplished as appropriate and according to department policies.Ability to be at work and be on timeAbility to follow company policies, procedures and directivesAbility to interact in a positive and constructive mannerAbility to prioritize and multitask*Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including but not limited to, shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities. Qualifications/Work Experience:
1-year acute care experience or equivalentEducation/Licensure/Certification:
Current California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiology Technology (RHA) or TherapeuticRadiologic Technology (RHT) requiredCurrent CRT license in the State of California (preferred)Current ARRT (RT) license, Radiation Therapy (required)Current fluoroscopy license in California (preferred)Current American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) card required
