The mission of this full-time position is to manage and maintain our Microsoft 365 environment, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability. This role requires experience with Azure services to support our cloud infrastructure and integrate with Microsoft 365 services.
Primary ResponsibilitiesAzure AdministrationManage Azure Active Directory, including user and group management, role assignments, and security policies.Implement and manage Azure resources such as virtual machines, storage accounts, and networking components.Monitor and optimize Azure performance, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery capabilities.Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate Azure services with on-premises infrastructure and third-party applications.Microsoft 365 Administration
Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive for Business.Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary updates and patches.Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.Provide end-user support and training for Microsoft 365 applications.Implement and maintain security measures for Microsoft 365 and Azure environments including IDP policies, endpoint policies, and compliance policies.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Projects
Work with the Development and IT Team with projects related to Microsoft 365 and Azure, including migrations, upgrades, and new implementations.Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and policies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless IT solutions.Essential Characteristics
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in such things as composing, typing, and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.Ability to learn the habits and needs of executives to anticipate their needs.Excellent initiative, ability to learn quickly and work independently.Knowledge of data gathering and reporting procedures.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet changing deadlines.Strong organizational and problem-solving skills to ensure excellent client service and expedient business processing.Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.Education, Training, & Experience
College (Bachelors) or relative work experience combined with certificationsMinimum of 3 years of experience as a Microsoft 365 Administrator.Extensive experience with Azure, including Azure Active Directory and other Azure services.Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 applications and services.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert are a plus.Working Conditions
