The Cloud Engineer will collaborate with the Cloud Center of Excellence, Cloud Architect, and other Cloud Engineers to implement cloud solutions aligned with organizational values and goals. A caregiver who excels in this role will:Work with the Cloud Center of Excellence to craft and implement cloud solutions in line with organizational and divisional goals.Provide hands-on implementation of cloud solutions consistent with enterprise architecture standards.Design, implement, and manage cloud systems to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security.Develop automation scripts, templates, and frameworks to streamline deployment and operations.Monitor cloud environments, analyze cost metrics, performance metrics, and implement enhancements.Use design values centered around simplicity, consistency, reusability, and standardization across the division.Carry out the division's cloud vision and strategy in collaboration with the ITD architecture team, ensuring progressive and integrated solutions.Offer subject matter expertise in assigned areas, ensuring state-of-the-art and tailored solutions to evolving challenges.Collaborate with fellow engineers and IT architects' division-wide to ensure a cohesive approach to cloud architecture.Support framework that ensures a smooth transition of products from development phases to sustainable production deployment.Engage proactively with key stakeholders, including division leaders, and external allies, to co-create enduring architectural solutions.Keep a pulse on emerging cloud technologies, leading the drive for the adoption of groundbreaking tools and methodologies.Engage in hands-on implementation and development, including prototyping and coding, as required.Remain at the forefront of IT advancements, positioning the organization to swiftly leverage cutting-edge technologies and innovative practices.Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline required.For Information Technology Division caregivers, ITIL Foundations certification is required within six months of the position start date.Five years of experience working in areas of computer systems and Infrastructure including a minimum of two years specializing in cloud engineering, preferably experience in Azure cloud solutions.Working knowledge of IaC and platform automation tools such as Azure ARC, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt, Terraform.Understand multi-cloud offerings, curating and updating a catalog optimized for internal enterprise use.Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Azure Certifications.Demonstrated skills in technical judgement to be able to guide decisions across systems, scale, performance, security, fault tolerance, etc.Experience with and significant knowledge of at least one cloud platform.Experience working within small to medium sized cloud engineering teams.Can work across organizations and multiple stakeholders.Must be interested and curious about the domain.Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
