Pay Range: $125000 - $150000 / year
Position SummaryPerforms project schedule/planning functions in the areas of project schedule development, project schedule oversight, schedule forecasting, critical path analysis, reporting, obtaining schedule updates and update verification/validation.
This position is remote with required travel to job sites.
Primary/Essential Responsibilities and Duties•Schedules activities for procurement, construction, start-up, operations, and close out.•Develops baseline schedules ensuring the full integration of scope, schedule, costs, risk, and resources•Identifies and tracks all changes to the project scope•Revises schedules when required due to design changes, labor or material shortages, or other interruptions•Produces, maintains, and revises summary and detailed schedules for ongoing project reporting and other program management needs•Ensures schedules correlate within the project cost data•Estimates time element of change orders and incorporates within the schedules•Evaluates critical path compliance and makes recommendations; actively seeks out schedule optimization opportunities•Advises and assists team members in the development of their schedules•Monitors actual progress rates and compares with plan•Monitors status of critical activities and program milestones and identifies problem areas and solutions•Performs detailed review of contractor schedules and work sequences•Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions•Advises and assists team members in the development of their schedules•Confers with supervisors to determine status of assigned projects•Prepares and presents progress reports.•Completes Quantity takeoffs and maintains commodity curves
Required Skills and Qualifications•A minimum of 5 years of construction scheduling experience•Proficiency with Primavera P6•Experience using Citrix based P6, combining multiple schedules, managed by multiple schedulers, into a single project schedule•Knowledge of the principles and practices of project management•Ability to analyze and input data on project budgets and schedules•Ability to meet deadlines•Strong verbal and written communication skills•Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions•Works indoors, with some onsite/outdoor work•Frequently sits, stands, walks, reads, writes, and uses a computer keyboard•May climb, balances, stoop, and crouch while navigating work areas under construction•May be exposed to harsh weather conditions and loud noise.
