5 Axis CNC Machinist And Programmer

**Job Description:**Are you a high-caliber CNC Programmer/Machinist with at least five years of experience? Were looking for someone with extensive experience programming complex five-axis parts on full five-axis CNC machines with robotic pallet systems, probing, laser offsetting, tool breakage detection, and more. You must understand the quality demands of human flight-critical aerospace parts and be familiar with AS9100 Quality requirements.**Key Responsibilities:**+ Lead and communicate effectively with your team.+ Be thorough and observant with an eye for detail.+ Fully understand product requirements and take responsibility for quality work.+ Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products to drive sustainable growth.**Job Requirements:**+ 5+ years of 5-axis CNC programming/machinist experience with horizontal and vertical mills (lathe experience a plus).+ Ability to identify and procure effective tooling and work holding solutions.+ Proficiency with Solid Modelling CAD programs for file inspection and modification.+ Expertise in machining complex components to tight tolerances with tight deadlines.+ Thorough knowledge of engineering drawings, documents, and GD&T.+ Proficiency in using measurement and inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauge pins, etc., and basic CMM familiarity.+ Knowledge of multiple CAM software programs; experience with Surfcam, NX, and HSMWorks is a plus.+ Fixture design and process engineering experience is a plus.+ Strong mathematical and analytical skills.**Desired Characteristics:**+ Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.+ Experience working in an international quality system such as ISO 9001 or AS9100.+ Strong working knowledge of ERP systems.+ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.+ Ability to work independently.**Education & Experience:**+ Minimum of five years of experience.Join us and be part of a team that values precision, quality, and innovation!**About Aerotek:**We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
