VTG is seeking
Readiness Data Analyst - Systems Analyst II (PMA-275)
to provide product support and in-service logistics support to the NAVAIR PMA-275 Joint Program Office. Specifically, provide sustainment data analytics support to the V-22 Osprey Sustainment Readiness Lead at PMA-275 Program Office, Patuxent River, MD.What will you do?
Possesses demonstrated Critical Thinking skills along with a fundamental knowledge of the application of statistical analysis.Capability of using the majority of Naval Aviation Enterprise (NAE) developed tools and reports to monitor and analyze Readiness levels for the various Type/Model/Series and their associated Mission Sets.Demonstrate skills and understanding with DECKPLATE, NAMP, One Touch, NATEC, and other software tools necessary to properly gather, review and analyze data impacting the V-22 platform performance to established Enterprise standards.Provide Program Managers and all stakeholders analysis of significant events and trend movement away from established readiness and cost goals in written, oral of brief formats.Implement and facilitate inter-program interfaces throughout the NAE.Represents V-22 Readiness in NAE Readiness Working Groups, Product Support Working Groups, Logistics Products and Process Reviews, and Maintenance Working Groups in support of Sustainment IPT.Respond to data calls from leadership, schedule meetings as necessary and provide leadership ressults in a written, oral or brief format as requested.The Data Analyst is responsible for the delivery of the following Data Driven Products as needed:
AnalysisForecastsData ProductsPerformance MonitoringKnowledge Management System entriesAbility to validate the data points and verify the accuracy of the data collection.Support the Readiness Lead in providing:
Recommended Product Support Strategy (PSS), Maintenance Concept and Product Support Package (PSP) UpdatesData integration, analysis focused on accurate and effective decision making.Prepare and/or deliver oral or brief type presentations, along with associated written analyses to customers/stakeholders in order to address readiness issues to justify logistics requirements/implementation.Do you have what it takes?
Education: BS or BA degree.Allowable Substitution: An additional five (5) years of acquisition or logistics management experience may be substituted for a BS or BA degree.Experience - At least five (5) years of experience in operational logistics support or in-service sustainment of weapon system platforms. Experience must include: Four (4) years in the performance of comprehensive analysis across the spectrum of Product Support elements during a job assignment in or in support of an acquisition command/operational command weapon system.Allowable Substitution: An MS or MA degree can be substituted for two (2) years operations logistics experience.Work hours will be in direct support of the client; therefore, hours may be fluid at times in order to meet customer/operational requirements. Work schedule flexibility is required. including Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, Power Point, and Project; well developed written and oral communication skills; ability to assess established maintenance/business processes, identify/document maintenance/business process problems and recommend maintenance/business process improvement initiatives; strong team building skills and ability to develop and maintain a highly integrated network of team members required to successfully execute the PMA-207 mission.Knowledge of the following areas is highly desirable:
a) Life Cycle Sustainment Planning, roles and responsibilities;b) Product Support / Integrated Logistics Support Requirements;c) Navy / Marine Corps / Air Force Command Mission Requirements;d) NAVAIR Sustainment Group Charter and Goals;e) In-service sustainment activity roles and responsibilities andf) Data analytics and Tableau software.
Pay Range: VTG's estimated starting pay range is $100,000-$160,000 annually which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
