The Lutheran Home is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our night shift team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for making a difference during the overnight hours providing professional nursing care to older adults. Experienced RNs and new graduates are welcome to apply. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in our skilled nursing facility, including assessment, treatment, and evaluation of care plans.Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate and manage resident care.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures.Monitor resident progress and adjust care plans as needed to promote optimal recovery and functional independence.Educate residents and their families about rehabilitation goals, care plans, and discharge instructions.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes.Respond to emergencies and provide immediate nursing interventions as necessary.Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure high standards of care and safety.In this Full-time position, you will have a set 2-week schedule with every other weekend off, working 7 out of 14 calendar days, night shift hours from 6:45 pm-7:15 am.
