About the Role:
As the Director, IT Core Projects, you’ll be at the forefront of Curaleaf’s digital transformation efforts. This role is essential in managing and delivering a portfolio of critical projects across multiple departments. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to implement innovative solutions that drive efficiency, improve processes, and help Curaleaf stay ahead in a fast-evolving industry. From project planning and execution to risk management and stakeholder communication, you’ll ensure that our most important initiatives are completed successfully, on time, and within budget.
What You’ll Do:
Lead Curaleaf's digital transformation portfolio, acting as Project Leader, Program Manager, Portfolio Manager, and PMO leader.
Manage multiple medium to large-scale projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to high-quality standards.
Develop and execute project plans, budgets, schedules, and risk assessments.
Oversee cross-functional project teams, working closely with product owners and business analysts to achieve project goals.
Drive the development of business and system requirements while facilitating collaboration between stakeholders.
Prioritize and monitor projects that align with the overall digital transformation strategy.
Establish and enforce project management processes, tools, and standards.
Communicate project milestones, updates, and challenges to key stakeholders regularly.
Lead a team of Business Analysts, ensuring the successful development of detailed business requirements for each project.
What You’ll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field.
10 years of project management experience with a track record of managing medium-to-large-scale projects.
Proven expertise in project lifecycle management and project organization.
Mastery of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall), and tools like Gantt charts and risk matrices.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and lead cross-functional teams.
Strategic thinker with a track record of developing successful business cases and managing stakeholder expectations.
Adaptability and resilience in the face of project challenges, uncertainties, and competing priorities.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
