With a strong focus on the strategy and operational delivery of large scale (100,000 participants) ‘Tier 1’ regional consumer events and Trade Shows as well as the strategy, communications and experience of Harley Owners Group (H.O.G) members in the region.Job Responsibilities
EventsTier 1 events strategy, development and execution. Comprising a minimum of three 100k+ participant events annually, taking place at different locations throughout the region. Some ticketed, some free of charge.Planning and delivery of Harley-Davidson presence at annual EICMA trade show – the biggest motorcycle show in the world.Alongside regional marketing colleagues, build marketing and promotional plans and partnerships to drive event awareness, attendance and engagement.Oversight and directional leadership of markets Tier 2 event plans and execution.KPIs include P&L accountability – tight cost control as well as maximising revenue opportunities.Stakeholder management – multiple external suppliers and internal senior leadership.CommunityCreate, demonstrate and clearly communicate the overall member value proposition.Lead H.O.G. EMEA strategy and all regional hub deliverables as well as matrixed oversight of market teams, plans and needs.Development and delivery of EMEA H.O.G. communications and CRM plan as well as all related materials and touchpoints (online and offline). Including social and digital (web content and journeys).Management of H.O.G. contact centre and fulfilment partners and all related KPIs.KPIs include acquisition, retention and renewal rates, revenue generation, digital engagement and traffic, customer experience satisfaction scores.Stakeholder management – multiple external suppliers and internal senior leadership.Education Requirements
Bachelor's Degree RequiredExperience Requirements
RequiredSignificant experience managing and delivering large scale high impact consumer events (circa. 100,000 participants). Including P&L accountability.Must be able to work within a highly matrixed organization. Building large, agile, and cross functional teams that evolve based on specific needs of any given project.Agency/supplier management – multiple big budget agency relationships and contracted individuals.Senior internal stakeholder presentations, management and alignment.Large and complex budget management, including multiple P&L accountabilities.Experience in high volume and complex project planning.Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience.PreferredExperience working in motorcycle or automotive industry.European languages (in addition to English) would be advantageous.Harley-Davidson is an equal opportunity employer that continues to build a culture of inclusion, belonging and equity through our commitment to attracting and retaining diverse talent from all backgrounds.
