Join our team as a Manager, Procurement Systems.The Manager, Procurement Systems is responsible for the tactical day-to-day systems management for data, exceptions analysis and alignment along with the overall digital strategy for the Global Supply Chain organization, Logistics and Indirect Procurement. This includes identifying, implementation, oversight and execution of new digital systems for the organization.The Procurement Systems function acts as the single relationship owner for end-to-end digital strategy that allows us to achieve our Hardwire ambitions. This role will also deliver our ongoing procurement transformation to enable generations of riders to experience the joy of riding a Harley-Davidson.The role is transformational in nature, so will require strategic thinking, effective problem structuring, and an ability to influence diverse teams.The Manager of Procurement Systems will work through a team of both direct reports and matrixed representatives from business functions. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional and global leadership to determine key digital strategy goals and execute a plan to meet Harley-Davidson’s Quality, Delivery, Cost and Product Development goals.Success will be measured based on:For tactical: Manage and maintain current systems and exceptions.For digital strategy: Projects identified, implemented, and impact delivered. Prioritization of the most meaningful opportunities and the ability to work cross-functionally is critical to success.Job Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing & Supplier ManagementKey responsibilities will include oversight and assurance of master data management, exception management and system updates.Define the overarching digital strategy/roadmap that is cohesive across the global supply chain team which includes Supply, Logistics and IP.Lead the approval process of each project on the digital strategy/roadmap, including the LBC for the digital office (RMO and DRB) along with the IBC for finance.Manage the implementation team members for each of the approved projects on the digital strategy/roadmap.Collaborate with the data and analytics team to further automate and enable visualization for various team across the organization to increase efficiency.OrganizationLeading a Procurement Systems team, establish rigorous internal performance management system, including team and individual-level targets, scorecards and monthly tracking.Achieve early wins to build organizational confidence and momentum; Embed learnings from the transformation project into our normal way of operating.Ability to grow team going forward based on demonstrated impact.Essential Job FunctionsIn partnership with the Transformation Management Office, provide governance and reporting for productivity, providing weekly status updates, leadership reporting and working closely with Finance to track and measure savings against commitments.Ensure the team develops and maintains refreshed and comprehensive Digital Strategy Plans, aligned with our business partners.Build a world-class workforce that creates competitive advantage by recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent.Education Requirements
Bachelor's Degree RequiredExperience Requirements
This role typically requires a minimum 8 years’ experience at Lead and below level(s) in Procurement Systems Management at an industrial or engineered products manufacturing company. In addition, the successful candidate will have demonstrated the following:Experience and success leading digital project implementations and system maintenance.Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Experienced with cross functional digital teams and defining requirements for the business needs and execution of the project defined.Experience with SOW agreements, multi-year contracts, SAP and supply chain software solutions.Highly results-oriented and focused on business priorities with a successful record of accomplishments.Excellent problem-solving skills – able to identify problems and/or opportunities for improvement and assesses viable solutions.
