As the Senior Manager of Influencer Relations and Emerging Media, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing strategies that creatively and effectively integrate influencer marketing partnerships and emerging media activations in collaboration with the company’s corporate social media team. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of social media platforms, media/content creation, influencer partnerships, reputation management, and channel development. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving engagement, building social advocacy, increasing brand awareness, and delivering measurable results through creative media and influencer collaborations.What you'll get to do
Develop and implement a comprehensive social advocacy and influencer relations strategy aligned with overall company goals to engage brand audiences in alignment with our corporate messages and strategic narratives.Collaborate with teams across the organization — including Product Marketing, PR, Executive Communications, Content Marketing, Global Events, and Brand & Creative — to develop comprehensive digital/social content initiatives, influencer partnerships and media activations across multiple platforms and formats.Partner with internal Splunk voices and executives to develop new social content initiatives and emerging media activations aimed at extending and elevating Splunk’s thought leadership and expertise with both new and existing audiences.In collaboration with the social media team and our agency partners, you’ll maintain and drive an “always-on” influencer engagement program.Manage Splunk-owned podcasting initiatives and partnerships, short-form video and live streaming efforts (including virtual event programming, LinkedIn/YouTube Live broadcasts, etc.)Stay up to date with and identify core industry trends, best practices, and emerging technology to continuously innovate and improve strategies to continue to advance emerging media initiatives.Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of social content and influencer campaigns.Must-have Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Marketing, Communications, or a related field8+ years of experience in social media management, influencer marketing, or related rolesProven track record of developing and executing successful social media and influencer marketing strategiesStrong understanding of social media platforms, digital media/content development processes and platforms, analytics tools, and emerging trendsCreative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and solutionsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyDemonstrated ability to lead a high-performing team and partner well with othersExcellent communicator, creative problem solver, risk-taker, innovative thinker, consensus builder (as needed), motivator, and assertive leaderA history of building highly collaborative relationships across the business, with a focus on creating a shared, results-driven mission with internal and external stakeholdersSplunk is an Equal Opportunity Employer

Base Pay RangeSF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area: $160,000.00 - 220,000.00 per yearCalifornia (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts: $144,000.00 - 198,000.00 per yearAll other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area: $129,600.00 - 178,200.00 per yearSplunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate.
In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.Benefits are an important part of Splunk's Total Rewards package.
