Director, Global Events Marketing at Darktrace .What You Will Do to Drive ImpactStrategic Leadership: Build, cultivate and grow a team of event marketers across the globe.Multi-Year Strategic Planning: Own and manage the Global Events strategy, execution plan, customer journey, and investment model by anticipating the needs of the market and best placement for Darktrace to increase engagement across new logos, customers, and partners.Own the Events Brand Strategy: work collaboratively with the brand team, creative, product marketing, and regional marketing to drive a consistent, cohesive brand experience across all major events worldwide.Lead the Internal GTM Sales Programs Annually: Partner closely with the events team, GTM team, Senior Leadership, and Regional Marketing to execute Sales Kick-Off (SKO) and Darktrace Club.Build strong, collaborative relationships across senior leaders and stakeholders to share plans, insights, priorities, actions, and performance.Oversee and manage the global events budget to drive efficiency and ROI.Deliver weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual performance KPIs and metrics on all execution.What Skills and Experiences You Need8-10 years combined marketing experience preferably in demand generation and/or global event marketing in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.Strategic Leadership: Articulates a clear strategic vision, generates enthusiasm, innovates, and creates rally support of people in the organization; highly effective and motivating.Developing People & Team Leadership: Actively coaches, develops goals, plans, and priorities; Aligns to mission, vision, and values. Holds people accountable for what is being executed and how the work is completed.Drive For Results: Set high standards for performance and elevates the business and organization; Prioritizes and focuses the team on execution that drives impact.Demonstrable knowledge of event production, planning, communications, virtual team, and agency leadership internationally.Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, marketing, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.Strong interpersonal and communication skills that include written, verbal, virtual team collaboration. Must have executive-level experience communicating internally and externally.Expertise in project, program, and event management, with strong demonstrable operational and organizational skills and mastery of planning & execution frameworks.Ability to drive operational excellence and fiscal responsibility.Performance expertise measuring key KPIs, metrics, and insights to accelerate business outcomes.Willing to travel up to 40%.
