Location:

This position is a hybrid role, with 3 days onsite at our Home Office in Chicago (River North), IL.

Position Summary:

Reporting to the VP of Operations, the National Sales Director is responsible for leading a team and driving group and event sales across all Puttshack venue locations nationwide, playing a pivotal role in increasing brand awareness in new and existing markets. The incumbent will manage a team of Regional Sales Directors and provide guidance and structure for the dedicated sales teams onsite at each Puttshack venue.

This is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at Puttshack's headquarters in Chicago with the expectation of travel as needed to support business operations and expansion activities.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

Build and execute a comprehensive group sales strategy, from lead generation through execution, to drive revenue growth and brand recognition across new and existing markets.

Identify and capitalize on group sales opportunities across corporate events, private parties, and group bookings through a variety of sales tactics.

Oversee and implement all sales systems, tools, resources, and vendors to drive best practices and enhance sales processes.

Collaborate with Operations and F&B leadership to drive event package options, pricing, and experiences.

Manage sales budgets and KPIs to monitor the delivery of group sales goals.

Partner with Operations leaders to set competitive price points and drive all sales reporting and forecasting.

Lead and develop a team of Regional Directors responsible for providing guidance, support, and resources to individual sales teams.

Identify emerging market trends, consumer behaviors, and competitor activity to inform strategic decision-making.

Partner with Operations leaders, Talent Acquisition, and HR teams to execute talent strategies.

Participate in the interview process and assist with training programs across sales related roles.

Work closely with Legal and Operations leadership to execute group sales and events contracts.

Collaborate with Marketing teams to align sales strategies with marketing campaigns and promotional opportunities.

Act as a champion of the Puttshack experience by attending trade shows, conferences, and networking events.

Required Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field, or experience equivalent.

Minimum of 10 years of group or events sales experience, including at least 5 years experience managing and leading a team of hospitality sales professionals.

Experience within a multi-unit, high-growth social entertainment and/or hospitality company is preferred.

Experience with CRMs and booking systems.

Proven track record of implementing and measuring effective sales strategies.

Strong analytical capability to tell business stories leveraging data.

Creative mindset and the ability to adapt to a changing environment.

Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and develop high-performing teams.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Must be able to travel as needed to support business needs.

This position must pass a post-offer background check.

Physical Requirements:

Physical activities on a continuous basis, sit at desk for a long period of time; frequent use of telephone/video conferencing.

Some walking and lifting, up to 25 lbs. may be required.

The noise level in the work environment is typically low to moderate.
