We work collaboratively across the enterprise and with regional and local market teams to drive sustainable patient access.Reporting into the Regional Market Access Head for Asia Pacific, you will partner with markets to ensure successful execution of access and pricing strategies consistent with the integrated business plan for critical assets within the company’s Oncology & Pharmaceutical product portfolio.WHAT YOU WILL DOLead/Drive the development and implementation of LMIC Market Access Initiatives, across all relevant dimensions from program concept, preliminary assessment and building the business case à stakeholder endorsement and approval à implementation of pilots and steady state governance.
Plan and execute landscape and pricing research to support and build market access strategy for products and indications. Ensure appropriate pricing, access, and negotiation strategies to achieve optimal access across public and private markets.
Closely collaborate with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Policy, and Value and Implementation teams in AP.
Liaise with the global market access and business teams to lead execution of the global access strategy for assets within the company's Pharmaceutical and Oncology portfolio.
Represent the AP region to provide input to the development of global access and pricing strategies for assets within the company's Pharmaceutical portfolio, with a specific focus on LMIC access.
Design and implement regional access initiatives supporting local short- and long-term objectives and outcomes. Support private market affordability and innovative payment solutions.
Demonstrate market access subject matter expertise for Affordability Solutions as a resource to the regional access strategy team and subsidiary teams.
Support and guide country price approval proposals and supporting business cases (analyzing pricing levels, pricing research, interfaces with HQs, creation and implementation of tools to support price management).
Develop a thorough understanding of the key payer landscape (including barriers and opportunities) across the region, as well as policy objectives, health priorities, and planned initiatives of governments throughout the region, in so far as they may impact on access for company products, together with the Policy, Communication, and Population Health team.
Partner with the Learning & Development team and other stakeholders to augment executional excellence and pricing, access and health economic capabilities of affiliates to support the value and access strategy.
WHAT YOU MUST HAVEWe are seeking a collaborative, innovative, and adaptable leader who is capable of earning the trust and confidence of peers and leaders, and accustomed to working in a dynamic region and within a matrix structure.To be successful in this role, you should also have:BA/BS degree in business administration, health policy, or health economics (or equivalent) from an accredited university. A Master’s degree is preferred.
Strong experience in market access, health economics, outcomes research and pricing in the pharmaceutical industry at Regional level.
Strong commercial acumen and leadership skills, including the ability to collaborate across the organization and establish influential relationships with key stakeholders to formulate payer collaborations.
Ability and proven capability in synthesizing and integrating strategic information from across commercial functions.
