Under the direction of practitioners and the supervision of the Cardiopulmonary Services Clinical Supervisor, provides therapeutic and diagnostic cardiopulmonary services in accordance with practitioner prescriptions and policies set forth by Androscoggin Valley Hospital and the Cardiopulmonary Department. Skills, Knowledge and Abilities must include (but are not limited to):Demonstratea thorough knowledge and understanding of applicable physiology and pathologyHave abilityto work independentlyWillingnessto work in a team-oriented environment is necessaryEffective communicationskills are requiredActiverotation from the Pulmonary Clinic to RT staff work is required, aspredetermined by Cardiopulmonary Clinical SupervisorRotation for on call duties is also required for thispositionMay also require cross training in EEG and sleep medicinedepending on workload and department operationsFamiliarity with computer applications requiredMust have technical aptitude and a willingnessto learn software applications used at AVHDress Code: Scrubs, any color, no denim. Closed-toe shoes. No perfume or cologne.Therapist/Patient Ratio:
1:5 or 6 is typicalTypical Patient Need: ED, Inpatient, transport to tertiary care center
