Overview:
A leading global provider of information and analytics in the real estate sector is seeking Security Engineers to join an innovative team. This position focuses on ensuring the security of web applications and offers both onsite and remote opportunities, ranging from Associate to Lead Architect levels.Responsibilities:Develop and maintain a comprehensive security suite for the product platform.Provide real-time vulnerability feedback and support for integrated development environments (IDE).Oversee vulnerability remediation efforts and conduct dynamic runtime scans in pre-production environments.Manage attack surface assessments and execute penetration testing.Implement strategies for cloud security posture management and workload protection.Ensure effective security controls for Cloud Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Kubernetes environments.Conduct proactive threat hunting and manage API security.Implement and oversee Web Application Firewalls (WAF) and bot controls.Develop strategies for data security posture management, focusing on preventing secrets and sensitive data leakage.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.Proven experience in security practices at scale, especially within CI/CD systems and cloud environments.Proficiency in scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IAC) technologies, including Python, PowerShell, Ansible, CloudFormation, and Terraform.Background in software development.Preferred Qualifications:Strong communication skills, with a focus on risk communication and mentoring.Familiarity with assessment tools, infrastructure operations, and network administration.Self-starter mentality with experience using a variety of security tools.Understanding of serverless cloud deployments.
