The

Talent Development and Engagement Specialist

develops and implements creative and effective solutions to meet a variety of corporate talent development and engagement initiatives. Specific areas of focus include onboarding, succession planning, leadership coaching, training and development, performance management and DEI initiatives. This role reports to the Vice President of Human Resources and actively participates in various other HR projects and initiatives.

Key Job Functions:

Create, evaluate, and execute programs to improve the skills and engagement of employees across the entire organization. Drive and ensure the effectiveness of the performance management process and provide coaching to managers.

Continually evaluate, create, measure, and manage succession planning and leadership development programs.

Utilize assessments and provide analysis for candidates in key roles.

Manage Learning Management System and leverage other platforms related to learning and development initiatives.

Design and develop learning and development programs from inception through evaluation.

Create and monitor onboarding plans for new hires, partner with Managers and Team Leads to measure and evaluate effectiveness.

Train and coach Managers and others involved in employee development efforts.

Research, recommend and executive effective solutions to maximize Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion to maintain and improve our strong culture.

Review rewards and recognition resources and concepts to maintain high levels of engagement.

Utilize survey and other tools to measure engagement levels.

Evaluate program effectiveness and continuously improve our solutions.

Carry out all responsibilities and assignments in accordance with Red Thread’s core values, policies, and corporate initiatives.

Actively participate with all members of the HR Team in the execution of various programs and initiatives.

Skills and Experience:

Strong willingness and desire to work as part of a resourceful, creative, and results-oriented team

Minimum of 5 years of experience in talent management, organizational development and/or learning and development

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Excellent presentation skills

Ability to build strong relationships and build trust across all levels of the organization

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Proficiency with learning technologies and resources

Education/Training/Certifications:

B.A. or B.S. required in Business, HR, Organizational Development or similar.

PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification preferred.

While this position reports into Red Thread’s Boston, MA office it will require travel to our other office locations.
