The T&D team is seeking a
Learning & Development Manager, Talent Planning & Organizational Effectiveness
to be responsible for the oversight, creation, and execution of Talent Planning strategies and initiatives, in conjunction with the Global Head of Talent & Development. This role is an integral part of the Talent & Development team and will be charged with the ownership of a portfolio of leadership programs.
This individual will be expected to lead, design, implement, manage, facilitate, evaluate, and identify continuous improvements in the Firm's talent planning approach. The
Learning & Development Manager, Talent Planning & Organizational Effectiveness
will need to stay aligned with the firm's goals in collaboration with our Line of Business (LOB) and HR stakeholders and the global T&D Leadership team.
This role requires that one be passionate about Talent Planning, including Organizational Design and Effectiveness, experienced in organizational design and development models & philosophies, collaborative, always learning, and results oriented.
Some of your key responsibilities include:
Lead the development and implementation of strategic talent planning initiatives, including talent assessments, succession planning, and workforce planning.Design and execute robust talent assessment processes to identify and develop high-potential employees, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.Oversee planning efforts, identifying key positions and talent pipelines to mitigate talent gaps and ensure a smooth transition in critical roles.Drive planning initiatives, collaborating with leaders and HR and T&D stakeholders to manage future talent needs and ensure the organization is well-prepared for growth.Utilize data analytics and insights to inform talent planning strategies, providing actionable recommendations for talent development and acquisition.Ensure alignment across all talent practices in collaboration with segment leads.Develop and implement comprehensive talent metrics and reporting mechanisms to measure the effectiveness of talent planning programs.Collaborate with HR partners and business leaders to align talent planning initiatives with broader HR and organizational strategies.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent required, graduate/Master's degree desirable.15+ years of experience in HR or Leadership roles required with proven experience in program management, design, and delivery of global talent initiatives required.Proven experience in talent planning, talent assessments, succession planning and workforce planning.Demonstrated success in leading global planning initiatives and building robust talent pipelines.Experience in workforce planning and change management, with experience building mechanisms to forecast and address future talent needs.Proficiency in data analytics and the use of tools to derive actionable insights for talent planning.Ability to right-size analytical tools and frameworks in support of discovery, design, and recommendations (financial or cost analysis, ROI analysis, workforce analysis and planning, process design and analysis, etc.)Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint to analyze and present data effectively.Systematic thinking and organizational design skills, looking to understand the interconnectedness of the organization and ability to select the levers to pull to lead desired outcome(s)Experience designing strategy and leading large-scale, visible OD projects.Familiarity in integrating organizational design, strategic workforce planning and change management as important components of transformational project focused on accelerating our performance.Experience working on global teams and addressing global needs with conscious inclusion.Demonstrated success in collaborating effectively with HR partners and leaders.Strategic mindset with the ability to align talent planning efforts with overall organizational objectives.Expected travel 10-20%
