Sales, Business Development & Marketing Group, Product MarketingGeneral Summary:A successful candidate will join Qualcomm Japan Automotive Product Marketing team as a senior manager (or a staff manager depending on skills & experience) in charge of products & technologies listed below:SoC and various software components for ADAS/AD ECU.NPU, GPUNeural Network for image classification, segmentation, detection, estimation, object behavior prediction, route planning, etc.Various sensors including camera, LiDAR, radar, etc.This person will lead & contribute to the promotion of products & technologies through discussions with car OEMs, Tier 1s, Tier 2s, and partners developing automotive vehicles & components while cooperating with internal teams such as sales, business development, engineering.This person’s tasks include:Understanding Qualcomm products lineup, including technical aspects, and promoting them to customers.Seeking out demands for new features & products through communication with customers.Staying updated on rapidly evolving market requirements.Defining or helping define requirements for new features & products while aligning with various teams.Ensuring products incorporate new features within the appropriate schedule.Facilitating customer understanding and evaluation of new features & products.Tracking all issues during the process and involving relevant team members for timely solutions.This person’s performance is measured by the revenue from products and technologies they are in charge of, and the influence they make on other products.Please note responsibilities may adjust over time as Qualcomm evolves.Required Qualifications:5+ years of embedded system/product development or design experience. 3+ years of project management experience.Understanding of embedded system product development cycle.Engineering understanding of technologies used by ADAS/AD systems.Familiarity with relevant standards and regulations such as ISO 26262, IEC 61508, and functional safety concepts.Business level fluency in Japanese & English, and experience in international teams.Engineering bachelor's degree or higher.Preferred Qualifications:Product Marketing experience in charge of ADAS/AD SoC & software, Neural Network, NPU, GPU, etc.Strong discipline for driving multi-year technology evolution cycles.Agility for managing changing market demands.Ability to maintain understanding of evolving automotive and regulatory requirements.Strength in logical thought process and concise explanation skills.Ability to negotiate successfully in a cooperative manner.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of relevant work experience.OR Associate's degree or equivalent and 8+ years of relevant work experience.OR High school Diploma or equivalent and 10+ years of relevant work experience.Completed advanced degrees may substitute for up to two years of work experience.Applicants:
