)DescriptionThe Center for Precision Imaging at the Massachusetts General Hospital MartinosCenter/Harvard Medical School has openings for highly qualified individuals at the postdoctorallevel with strong imaging backgrounds to work on PET molecular imagingprojects. Our Center is at the forefront of personalized PET molecular imaging and weare working to pioneer novel precision imaging and therapy approaches. We have along-standing interest in developing and translating targeted biological PET probes forimproved tumor characterization for personalizing cancer treatment and autoimmuneconditions. Over the past decade, we have produced many PET and optical imagingprobes for assessing immune system activation, receptor imaging, imaging of the tumormicroenvironment and interrogation of metabolome. Our group has led some of the firstefforts to diagnose therapeutic resistance through receptor imaging and feedback loopsignaling, monitor and predict the immune response in cancer immunotherapy andutilize targeted imaging to determine effective therapy dosing, among others. Theseefforts have led to two first-in-human imaging agents, most recently 68Ga-NOTA-hGZPfor imaging granzyme B, currently in open trials for clinical validation. We are seeking candidates for a postdoctoral fellowship focusing on the applications ofPET imaging agents and targeted radiotherapeutics while working closely with a teamof experts in molecular cancer imaging, molecular biology, immuno-oncology,interventional oncology, and radioligand therapy.
QualificationsSuccessful candidate(s) should have a proven track record of continued achievementand be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, a commitment to teamwork andeffective communication skills. If you are interested, please contact the CPIsending email to umahmood@mgh.harvard.edu or applying here. Background in small animal PET image acquisition and analysiBasic radiometal labeling, kinetic modeling and/or working with animalmodels.
