Enterprise Systems ManagerAt SPAN, the Enterprise Systems Manager oversees multiple dimensions of SPAN’s core enterprise applications including, NetSuite, Boomi, Salesforce, Snowflake and others. This role entails specifying a unified enterprise architecture, driving systems integration activities, and managing capabilities such as stability, life cycle management, design and development of future solutions (eg. Workday), mapping of business requirements to capability-oriented technical requirements, and ensuring technology solutions to business needs are developed in accordance with the unified enterprise architectural roadmap, guidelines, and standards.

Primary Responsibilities

Manages end-to-end, both new and existing tools, from conception, through delivery, into production of enterprise architectures.

Partners with Commercial, Finance, Security, and IT teams to elicit and to translate business requirements into enterprise-wide solutions.

Leads the design and modeling of architectures, as well as the integration of systems, for delivery, development, and support of defined business processes.

Collaborates with other domain tools and system owners to provide a consensus based scalable and adaptable architectural solution.

Handles technical analysis and design capabilities and facilitates technology design workshops for emerging technologies.

Validates designs produced by third party vendors wishing to sell solutions to the organization.

Aligns Information Technology strategy and planning with the company’s business goals and objectives.

Promotes the use of a shared infrastructure and application roadmap to reduce costs and improve how information flows.

Collaborates on roadmaps to align information technology priorities with business partner requirements and strategies.

Builds and maintains technical trusted advisor relationships with influential technical decision makers within Technology.

Works with developers to ensure that technical solutions align with the overall Information technology architecture frameworks and design guidelines.

Works with portfolio technology leaders to include technical debt initiatives to portfolio roadmap.

About YouRequired Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field and seven plus (7+) years of enterprise, solutions and/or technical architecture experience.

Experience of N-tier architectures and complex design architectures.

Experience with technical, application, and information architecture delivery techniques and methodologies.

Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and enhancing enterprise systems; bonus if experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, Workday, and/or Boomi.

Experience with Agile methods.

Netsuite Administrator Certification.

Taking on the role of system administrator where required.

Managing the governance risk and controls environment including administration of access controls, managing changes to application configuration, SOC compliance etc.

Bonus Qualifications

Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.

An understanding of, and ability to use, design patterns to steer business requirements into enterprise wide technical strategies.

Awareness and ability to document designs using internal and external notational standards (Business Process Model and Notation {BPMN}, Unified Modeling Language {UML}).

Hands on the keyboard depth in one or more popular programming languages like Java, Go, C#, Rust, Python, etc.

Knowledge of security design techniques.

Understanding the technology of the organization, e.g. Middleware, .NET, Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE), Oracle, etc.

Working knowledge of modern Operating Systems (Linux/Windows), Networking, Servers/Mainframe, Secure Coding Practices, Development Environments (Java/.Net), Databases (DB2/Oracle/SQL Server).

The U.S. base salary range for this position is $143,000-$190,000 plus benefits and equity. This range represents SPAN’s good faith estimate of competitively-priced salary for the role based on national, real-time industry data from companies of a similar growth stage. This range reflects minimum and maximum new hire salaries for the role across US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by location and individual factors including relevant skills, experience and education or training. This range correlates to the relative level of the candidate we believe we need for the role and may require an adjustment for candidates of a different level.
