You will play a pivotal role in developing and delivering timely capital markets and economic insights, upholding German American’s reputation for excellence.What You’ll Do:Day in the Life –
Each day, you’ll lead a team of talented portfolio managers, guiding them as they build sound investment processes and set both strategic and tactical asset allocation targets. Your focus on team development means you’ll constantly invest in your people, fostering their professional growth and encouraging them to reach new heights.You’ll stay at the forefront of market trends, using your expertise to develop and refine investment strategies that align with our goals and drive informed investment decisions. Your research will uncover the opportunities that matter most, providing detailed explanations and contributing to our understanding of the economy and capital markets. Aligned with our investment philosophy and policies and identifying potential risks, you’ll ensure our investment strategies remain robust and forward-thinking.You will also develop strategic and tactical asset allocation recommendations and oversee the portfolio management process, ensuring strategies are communicated and implemented consistently across client portfolios. You’ll analyze and monitor critical macroeconomic issues, assessing their potential impact on investment portfolios, and foster ideas for new investment product development.On a regular basis, you’ll chair investment strategy meetings, lead discussions in Investment Committee Meetings, and present performance reports to the Wealth Advisory Group Board. Additionally, you’ll oversee the publication of research content, ensuring it supports both internal and external communications. Your relationship-building skills will shine as you engage in new business development opportunities, conduct due diligence reviews, and participate in client meetings.
