The firm is known for delivering responsive, high-quality legal services to its clients, offering both proactive advice to prevent litigation and strong defense in litigation matters.Job Summary:The firm is looking for a Legal Secretary with a minimum of 2-4 years of litigation experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of civil litigation, excellent calendaring and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Edit and finalize legal documents, letters, and reportsManual calendaring using OutlookHandle state and federal court filings, including e-filingPerform general administrative duties, including answering phones, managing expense reports, coordinating travel, and maintaining attorneys schedulesManage work across multiple cases and for various attorneysWork independently and collaboratively in a teamMinimum Qualifications:2-4 years of litigation legal secretary experienceIn-depth knowledge of state and federal court filing procedures, including e-filingExpertise in manual calendaring (state and federal court rules, deadlines, and procedures)Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Experience preparing TOAs, TOCs, motions (MSJs), discovery, pleadings, and judicial council formsExcellent communication skills, highly organized, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyFamiliarity with iManage, Coyote Analytics, Westlaw Deadline Assistant, and PACERAbility to work efficiently under pressure, handle constructive feedback, and work independently with minimal supervisionStrong attention to detail, tech-savvy, and a team playerWillingness to learn new tasks and take on additional responsibilitiesA strong work ethic is essentialPosition Details:Full-Time: 40 hours per week (in-office; hybrid schedule available after 3 months)Days: Monday to FridayHours: 8:30 AM 5:30 PMBenefits:Competitive salary $75,000-$90,000Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance (100% employer-paid)401KPaid Time Off (PTO)Employer-provided parkingEqual Opportunity Employer:This firm celebrates diversity and is committed to fostering an inclusive workplace where all employees feel valued, respected, and empowered.
