We are looking for a great veterinarian to join our 2nd Street Animal Hospital team and share our passion for practicing veterinary medicine!

Located in the thriving Northern Liberties neighborhood of Philly, 2nd Street Animal Hospital is an AAHA Accredited, fear-free, eco friendly, rapidly growing and recently-built state-of-the-art practice that boasts new facilities and serves both small animal and exotic patients. We're committed to caring for our canine and feline patients and also offer over 25 years of exotic animal veterinary experience, making 2nd Street the leading exotic veterinary practice in the region!

We have a wealth of experience in advanced diagnostics and soft tissue surgery, skilled support staff, and our Medical Director brings extensive years of exotic veterinary medicine experience to support a diverse patient population.Excellent tools and equipment:

Digital x-ray and digital dental x-ray, ultrasound, therapeutic laser, surgical suite, exotic critical care O2/temperature incubators, cryosurgery equipment, exotic animal ventilators, micro-surgical equipment, in-house laboratories and pharmacy, Olympus flexible and Storz rigid endoscopy, Storz electrosurgery, 3-D printing, and CereTom portable CT.Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Our ideal candidate is a small animal veterinarian interested in a supportive and balanced work culture where staff can thrive both personally and professionally. Some interest in exotics case exposure a plus, but not required.

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university, or equivalentActive licensure in good standing to practice in the state of PennsylvaniaExperienced in companion animal wellness and preventive care medicine, exotics interest a plusGeneral surgery and general dentistry interest, with a commitment to continuing education and advancing procedure expertiseA commitment to the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethicsPassion for collaborating with other doctors, staff and leadership to improve patient outcomes, drive clinic success, and further develop your careerBenefits:
