Position Summary:

We are looking for an

IT Solution Architect Data Management & Analytics - Manufacturing

to join our IT team as we deliver on our vision to become best in class. In this role you will lead innovative and transformative analytics initiatives that will drive the next generation of digital manufacturing. You will spearhead cutting-edge projects, enabling manufacturers to embrace Industry 4.0, leveraging advanced data analytics, IoT, machine learning, and cloud technologies to revolutionize operational efficiency and drive smarter, data-driven decision-making.

As a key player in the digital transformation journey, you will design and implement end-to-end analytics solutions that unlock the potential of real-time data from shop floors, optimizing production, improving quality, and predicting machine maintenance needs. You will work closely with stakeholders to modernize legacy systems and integrate them with the latest analytics platforms, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of smart manufacturing.

This role involves close collaboration with IT, plant operations, and supply chain stakeholders to ensure the successful integration of data management and analytics capabilities into our manufacturing systems.

Where You'll Work:

This role will be based out of our Lawton, MI manufacturing plant and regularly supports other manufacturing locations.

What You'll Do:Develop and execute a strategic plan for integrating data management and analytics within the manufacturing domain. Ensure alignment with overall business objectives and technology strategy.Understand and participate as required in data governance frameworks to ensure data integrity, quality, and compliance with industry regulations and standards. Implement processes for continuous data cleansing and standardization.Leverage analytics tools and methodologies to extract actionable insights from manufacturing data (e.g. WMS, QMS, OEE, CMMS). Support decision-making processes with real-time analytics, predictive modeling, and data visualization.Cross functional collaboration with business leaders, plant operations and supply chain key stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to identify data and analytics needs. Translate business requirements into technical solutions that drive value and efficiency.Lead data management and analytics projects from inception through to completion. Manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively. Ensure projects deliver desired outcomes and ROI.Facilitate training sessions and workshops for users on data management and analytics tools and best practices. Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new technologies and processes.Continuously monitor emerging technologies and industry trendsServe as the subject matter expert on data management and analytics within the manufacturing sector. Provide guidance and mentoring to junior team members.Become key member of on-going digital transformation program.Who You Are:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field with 5+ years' experience in a similar role.Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate certification preferred.Some familiarity with manufacturing processes, workflows, and the types of data generated on the shop floor (e.g., production data, machine data, quality control data).Strong understanding of data governance, data quality management, and data standardization practices.Experience with analytics tools and technologies, including BI platforms, data warehousing, and predictive modeling (e.g. Microsoft Fabric: data lake, EDW, data flows, data pipelines, semantic models and Power BI reports preferred).Insights into manufacturing operations management systems, such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems).Understanding of manufacturing supply chain management and logistics, and how data analytics can improve efficiency, cost reduction, and demand forecasting.Excellent project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.What You'll Enjoy:
