Job Description FIS Management Services, LLC seeks IT Architect Senior in Jacksonville, FL to be responsible for the overall data management strategy for the FIS corporate data lake in azure. Responsible for developing and maintaining a formal description of the data and data structures, defining, and implementing data quality and security standards, implementing and enhancing business intelligence and analytics initiatives. Ensure development is done right the first time and understands how products relate with other products and ensure interdependencies are in focus. Perform data modeling for new business initiatives, including robust data definitions, data flow diagrams, and process definitions. Work closely with business and product owners to define and write data management business requirements. Work collaboratively with other architects and database administrators to design solutions involving complex data and reporting requirements. Ownership of data warehouse architecture, providing knowledge and input into data warehouse design and architecture of multi-location databases with data flows, synchronization mapping, and purge/archive strategy. Employ data mining techniques to achieve data synchronization, redundancy elimination, source identification, data reconciliation, and problem root cause analysis. Research, recommend, and implement advanced analytical techniques to help solve business problems. Support data selection, extraction, and cleansing for effective reporting and bi or dashboard requirements. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: performing Analysis, design, coding and Implementation of various Web, Windows applications; working with Migrating SQL database to Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, Data Bricks and Azure SQL Data warehouse using ADF; developing Spark applications using Spark - SQL in Databricks for data extraction, transformation and aggregation from multiple file formats for analyzing & transforming the data to uncover insights into the customer usage patterns; utilizing Spark Architecture including Spark Core, Spark SQL, Data Frames, Spark Streaming, Driver Node, Worker Node, Stages, Executors and Tasks; working with Database Design and development with Business Intelligence using SQL Server, Integration Services (SSIS), DTS Packages, SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), DAX, OLAP Cubes, Star Schema and Snowflake Schema; utilizing visualization tools Power BI, Confidential Excel - formulas, Pivot Tables, Charts and DAX Commands; implementing Performance Tuning, optimization, data integrity and statistics by using SQL Profiler; implementing SQL server performance tuning in Stored Procedures and creating required indexes on tables; and analyzing the execution plan to improve the SQL queries, joins, views, and functions.
