Technology Specialist
to join our team and provide technology support to our clients. This position will require on-site work at various client locations.
The
Technology Specialist
provides comprehensive technical support to our clients by responding, managing and monitoring services and project tickets. The
Technology Specialist
will play a crucial role in supporting our external clients by providing technical expertise, troubleshooting, and ensuring the optimal performance of their IT infrastructure. This position requires a basic understanding of various technologies, strong communication skills, and the ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
ResponsibilitiesRespond, manage, monitor level 1 and 2 support requests as assigned as well as project tickets as assignedMonitoring and managing escalation of assigned service and project ticketsTriage incoming calls and support tickets submitted by clientsCoach, mentor and develop those in the Technology Triage Specialist roleSet up and deploy Workstations, Printers, and other Hardware as assigned on client sitesAct as "Tech of Day" or work with designated "Tech of Day" to triage and dispatch critical tickets that get generatedFor a dedicated day of the week, respond and provide 1st level support to critical tickets & escalate if need beIdentify alerts in remote management and monitoring systems that require resolution and dispatch to appropriate staffMonitor client server backup jobs, resolve errors as neededCreate and maintain client documentation for assigned clientsTest recovery of client data and serversManage client anti-virus solutions to ensure functionality and version healthConfigure and install new workstations for clientsGenerate predefined reports and send them to client contacts on a scheduled basisUse RIS (Rea Information Services) systems to monitor client environments and record details of work performedConduct on-site support tasks at client locationsPerform additional duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Two-year degree in technology related field or equivalent work experience and industryPrior experience working in an MSP environment preferredCOMPTIA A+, COMPTIA Network+, Microsoft fundamentals, CCNA, or relevant introductory I.T certification preferredReliable transportation required to respond at client site if requiredBenefits
