Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Corporate Controller to join our food processing/manufacturing operation. In this role, you will be responsible for the management and oversight of all aspects of the company's financial operations. This includes banking transactions and reconciliations, general ledger, financial statements, intercompany transactions, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting and forecasting, capital projects, internal controls, and regulatory reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, a keen analytical mind, and exceptional leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all banking transactions and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and standards.Manage the general ledger and ensure accurate and timely financial statements.Handle intercompany transactions and eliminate any discrepancies.Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable departments, ensuring timely payments and collections.Develop and manage the company's budget and financial forecasts, providing strategic insights to company leadership.Oversee capital projects, ensuring they are financially viable and meet strategic goals.Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.Oversee all regulatory reporting, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.Develop and monitor key business performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. A Master's degree or CPA is preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the food processing or manufcturing industry.Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in financial software and databases.Strong understanding of financial regulations and standards.Ability to develop and implement financial strategies and plans.High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
