Overview
This Employee Wellness Dietitian reviews employee aggregate data and develops educational programs to raise awareness of lifestyle changes incorporating healthy eating skills. Responsibilities also include nutrition counseling for employees. The Wellness Dietitian will collaborate with the Fitness Specialist and Nurse Educator to help coordinate healthy lifestyle programs and explore new ideas in the area of employee wellness, particularly healthy nutrition, weight loss management, and cooking.

Responsibilities- Works with adult populations in corporate wellness setting to raise awareness of nutrition topics.? Develops nutrition and healthy eating skills presentations.
- Collaborates with the other Employee Wellness team members to coordinate healthy lifestyle.
- Works with Marketing and Communication departments to promote nutrition programs and healthy lifestyle behaviors.
- Represents Nationwide Children?s Hospital in community initiatives and other workplace health promotion initiatives.
- Sets up and operates educational displays, videos and educational tools used in presentations.
- Explores creative ways to change adult eating behaviors.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of healthy adult nutrition through literature and research.
- Participates in data collection for outcome goals.
- Participates in educational activities to maintain licensure and registration requirements.
- Submits required reporting and attends staff meetings including department and hospital appropriate meetings.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Nutrition
Licensure: Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and maintains continuing education hours. Licensed to practice as a dietitian by the Ohio Medical Board. Valid Ohio driver's license and proof of auto insurance as required by hospital policy. Must pass motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications, and training set forth by Nationwide Children's Hospital and maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.
Skills: Effective customer relations, communication, and interpersonal skills, required. Strong analytical, organizational, and public speaking skills, required.
Experience: Experience working with adults and corporate wellness programs preferred. Experience in nutrition-related adult education, presentations, and workshops. Knowledge of menu design, weight loss nutrition, and exercise in the role of weight management, desired.
