The Associate Support Specialist will be primarily responsible for client-related support, the maintenance and enhancements to existing software solutions and websites, as well as assist with the implementation of more optimized and efficient processes.

*This position will be hybrid out of our Fort Wayne, IN office. The requirement is to work in the office two or more days per week.*

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provide first level client support of assigned software solutionsContact clients to provide clear, written instructions in addition to logging a description of the incident or issue for our resolutions team; Use appropriate communication channel based on issue complexity documenting results in JIRADiagnose and triage issues with software; determine and document root causeMaintain and enhance existing software solutionsAid in developing and documenting potential solutions to a given issueAssist with preparation of functional and technical documentationParticipate in code reviews and release & sprint planning sessionsNon-Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform other duties as assignedEducation and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology, or related field; will substitute equivalent combination of work experience and schoolingFamiliarity with professional programming preferred; no experience requiredFamiliarity with HTML, JavaScript, ASP.Net, C#, MVC, SQL etc.Knowledge of relational databases and object-relational mapping conceptsUnderstanding of the software development life cycle; agile methodologyIntermediate verbal and written communication skills; excellent listening skillsIntermediate organizational skills; ability to handle multiple projectsBasic troubleshooting skillsMust be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. This position does not qualify for employment-based sponsorship.
