Your Mission:

Support business stakeholders and partner with technology experts to support the development and deployment of enterprise-wide business intelligence. The role is a critical part of the Business Intelligence Team and creates enterprise BI that enables executives, leaders, and operators to make data driven decisions. The company is clear and committed to the "what" - enabling data driven decisioning, as well as the "why" - to make a great company even better- and is looking to the Business Intelligence Team to help shape the "how". This role will build on the existing foundation of Business Intelligence by increasing the focus on stakeholder engagement and the delivery of essential BI/KPIs and critical reporting. This role reports to the Manager, Global Business Intelligence who is a member of the leadership team of the Global Data and Analytics.

How You'll Make an Impact:Develops highly actionable BI by engaging with business leaders, decision makers, systems and data owners, and end users to define goals and requirements for reports, dashboards, and analytics.Leverages an inquisitive mind-set to dig into the business goals and operations as well as and available data sources to ensures KPIs and Reporting truly meet the business need.Develops and delivers recurring and ad-hoc BI solutions to support the goals of the enterprises.Partners with key technology experts (Data Warehouse) to ensure reports are built in an efficient, reliable, cost-effective way.Supports business users on how to effectively use the recurring reports and helps them build skills to create relevant custom reports.Works to continuously improved their capability in BI and analytics broadly, recognizing the value of both hard skills like those in areas like data, analytics, and technology as well as soft skills like decision making and stakeholder engagement.Who You Are:

Bachelor's Degree in business, technology, engineering, or a related field.1 + years' experience directly related to the development of data driven KPIs, Business Intelligence and Analytics in mid-sized or large company.Good capability with Power BI (or similar enterprise scale tools) including both development and user experience.Capability with using SQL queries to extract large data sets for EDA and other purposes.Capability to engage leaders and understand their business challenges and help them address those challenges with BI and analytics.Knowledge of the critical elements of BI and Analytics infrastructure.Knowledge of processes and tools (including embedded features) that secure data security and data privacy.What Will Make You Stand Out:

Experience in hybrid technical environment.Experience in large consumer facing industry - auto, retail, QSRWhere You'll Work:

This position may require minimal travel to vendor locations, assessment at stores and Ilitch Companies facilities, data centers or seminars/networking.Requires extended periods of time sitting and talking on the phone.Works in a normal office environment where there is no physical discomfort due to temperature, noise, dust, and the like.A state-of-the-art building with a modern-day, open environment in the heart of The District Detroit.A colleague fitness center, work caf and an outdoor patio with grills.Over 60 different meeting spaces to help promote a collaborative environment.
