Unit DetailsNumber of Beds: 68Patient Ratios: 4:1 routinely, surge and other circumstances will alter. We do not guarantee ratios.Equipment:EMR: EPICHiring Profile: Must Have Skills/Experience: 1 year Emergency Department in a Level 1 or 2 years in a Level 2 Trauma facility only; this must be indicated on the resume. Preferred Skillset/Experience: trauma/peds, 200+patients/day, high acuity experience preferred.Type of Patients on Unit: We are a level one trauma, Stroke, STEMI center and regional burn centerPersonality Fit: Determined, decisive, flexibleDress Code: Scrub Color: Black, Any unacceptable attire: attire unprofessional, jeansAdditional Details
Overview: Performs direct patient care activities for all age groups to include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.Monitors and coordinates patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort.Functions within the scope of nursing preparation and consistent with the established guidelines of nursing practice, the Missouri Nurse Practice Act, Mercy Code of Conduct, Mercy Mission and Values and Mercy Service Standards.
