12 Hour Shifts: 0700-1930; 1900-0730 with a 1/2 hour lunch breakPerm staff do self-schedulingTravelers will be scheduled where they are neededBlock scheduling allowed as long as the needs of the unit are metEvery-other-weekend requirementHolidays will depend on the needs of the unitCall or standby requirement might apply depending on contract specificsUnit Specific Information
Common diagnoses/Types of patients include elective surgeries and fractures from fallsIV Fluids & PCA pumps are common equipment; no heparin or other dripsRemote tele monitoring if needed, but RN's do not have to read stripsPatient Care Techs (PCT's) ratio depends on staffing, duties include Vitals, FSBS, ADLsRT Equipment managed per RT includes Cpap, Bipap & High FlowOrientation includes 1 Day of EPIC and 1 day on the floor with a preceptorAdditional Details
