Looking for 1W RN MedSurg - 25 in Parkersburg, WV at Camden Clark Medical Center.Contract duration is 13 weeks.Nursing responsibilities include handling of Infectious Disease, Isolation, COVID, MRSA, C-Diff, etc.Nurses will not be required to titrate cardiac drips.No responsibilities for managing ventilators directly; however, may have patients on CPAP, BiPAP, or high-flow oxygen.Remote tele monitoring with monitors at the desk; RNs do not need to interpret strips.Job Requirements
Strong knowledge in MedSurg, Infectious Diseases, and Isolation precautions.BLS (AHA) certification required.Schedule Information
12 Hour Shifts: 0700-1930; 1900-0730 with a 30 minute lunch break.Self-scheduling for permanent staff, travelers scheduled as needed.Every other weekend work required.Holidays depend on unit needs, travelers may be required to work if permanent staff coverage is insufficient.Floating required to other MedSurg units, assigned patients within skillset if floated to Tele.Unit Specific Information
The unit has 18 beds with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6, 1:4 if there are COVID patients.Typically staffed with 3-4 RNs per shift.2 CNA's per shift.1 Day of EPIC orientation followed by floor orientation with a preceptor.Third day on their own.Additional Details
Royal Blue scrub color/dress code.No hoodies or non-scrub jackets allowed.Charge Nurse available 24/7.
