A hospital in Arizona is looking for an experienced ER RN to work a travel assignment.Submissions cannot have worked in Arizona for the past 12 months/one year as a permanent staff employee and does not have a currently active position at an acute care hospital or hospital system in Arizona (meaning even staff PRN).This position includes floating to several different satellite locations in the area.The right candidates will have 2+ years of experience.Job Requirements
Experienced ER RN.2+ years of experience.Active ACLS, BLS and AZ (or compact) license.COVID vaccine is required or declination form with appropriate documentation and hospital approval.Required to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start, with 2 max attempts.Pass/fail Sim Lab is also required on Day 1 of orientation (study guides provided with first day instructions).Schedule Information
Schedule will be made in advance so traveler is aware of what location they'll be reporting to.Unit Specific Information
Unit: ER (will be one of only 2 RNs on staff at the satellite locations).Ratios: 4:1.EMR: Cerner.Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.Holidays: As needed.Scrub Color: Galaxy Blue.Vents: Vent capable.Lab Draws: Performed by ER staff.IV Team: No.Shifts: 12's.Floor specific orientation: Yes.Every Other Weekend (EOW), Holiday Rotation, 7-7 shift.Additional Details
NO HOLIDAY TIME OFF - Must have travel Experience.Certs: BLS, ACLS, TNCC (CPI is not required, only preferred).SIMs Lab: All RNs will be expected to complete SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion & central line dressing changes, with the exception of NYICU & ED.First Day PASS/FAIL TESTING - SIMs Lab notifications.The hospital expects that every nurse is competent in these areas, especially maintaining sterile field.
