Contract length: 13 weeks9 Trauma - 45 bed medical/surgical unit providing care to trauma patients with focus on the acute and chronic needs for patients that are hemodynamically and medically stable.Specialty medical/surgical unit that is fast paced.Trauma focuses on acute and chronic needs for trauma patients admitted from the emergency department, transferred from the ICU, or admitted from surgical/procedural services.Ratios are 1:5 days/1:6 nights. Depending on staffing, night ratios can be 1:7 (this is rare, but facility wants travelers to be aware).EPIC charting experience required.Will float within scope to meet facility needs (this includes potentially floating to Bellevue campus).100% NICOTINE FREE FACILITY.Locals Accepted: NO (candidate must be more than 100 miles from facility).Pending license accepted: Yes, but if license is not IN HAND at the time of submission then traveler will be booked six weeks out.RTO restrictions: Up to two weeks of RTO permitted. RTO must be submitted with application. Additional requests after confirmation at manager discretion.Weekend Requirement: Two weekends in a four-week schedule period (Saturday/Sunday for day shift, Friday/Saturday for night shift).Job Requirements
2 years of prior MS/Telemetry experience preferred (must have large, urban hospital experience).Drips are required on all floors.Level I Trauma Center and Teaching Hospital experience required.First timers NOT accepted (will consider if traveler has 2+ years of trauma experience and meets all other requirements).BLS required.Schedule Information
