the right candidate will have 2 years of ICU experiencehold an active BLS, ACLS and Arizona licensePositive attitude is a must with very strong teamworkNo pass cultureMust be proficient with vasoactive dripsMust be independent, as there could be times that they would be the only RN on this unit with only the resource nurse & a techMust have strong general Medical & Surgical ICU experienceSchedule Information
Shifts: 12 hr shifts: 7a-7p; 7p-7aWeekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts for 4 week scheduleHolidays: 3 out of 6 main holidaysUnit Specific Information
Unit: ICU/MOSU (Multi-Operational Service Unit) this is on the same floor as- # beds: 5 Beds- Ratios: 1 to 2 if ICU patients; 1 to 3 if MedSurg patients- EMR: Cerner- Charge Nurse: Yes- Nurse Aides: 1 tech per shift (shared with MedSurg unit)- Scrub Color: Navy- Tele: Phillips - RNs are required to interpret EKGs- Vents: Yes- Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Hospitalist during the day- IV Team: SWAT RN for rapid response, PICC lines- RT 24/7: Yes- Pharmacy 24/7: Pharmacy open 6a-5pm- Floating: Float to MedSurg or possibly to MICU @ SJHMC- Floor specific orientation: 2 shifts- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: (detailed patient conditions and procedures performed are listed)Additional Details
ACLS, BLS;Medical Solutions Pre-Screens, IF RECOMMENDED - AUTO OFFERMOSU is a Multi-Operational Services Unit that is licensed to take any level of care within this spaceThis is a brand new unitIt will be the ICU unit but to maximize productivity they may bed non-ICU patients in this space.12 hour days, 4 total weekend shifts per 4 weeks, 2 out of 3 major holidays
