This position WILL ACCEPT locals.13 weeks.5x8s.Shift: 0700.Resource will Partner with Senior Physicist to support department clinical and equipment QA program.Perform machine QA on Varian True Beam with Align, knowledge of VARIAN ECLISPE, ERT, IDENTIFY, HyperArc, Varian Cones, GammaMed iX HDR afterloader, xStrahl Superficial Therapy Unit and Philips Brilliance Big Bore CT using Dose Lab and Sun Nuclear software.Participate in radiosurgery treatment planning and plan checks using Eclipse, Velocity, Aria, ClearCheck.Attend radiosurgery procedures at the machines to provide physics guidance regarding IGRT and surface guidance implementation and ensure safe workflow.Attend department clinical QA meetings and participate in weekly and closing patient chart QA.Take initiative to read current literature to apply latest knowledge to clinical decision process.Pursue quality improvement projects to support clinical, software and machine quality maintenance initiatives.Job Requirements
Minimum Education: Master of Science in Physics or related field.Minimum Experience: completed residency in Radiation Oncology Physics.Required Certification: MUST BE Certified Therapeutic Medical Physicist (American Board of Radiology, American Board of Medical Physics or Canadian College of Physicist in Medicine).Schedule Information
