RTO after booking is not allowed and Is not allowed to be worked out onsite.Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR.WILL CERT FOR CHEMOTarget Ratios: 1:6-7Shift: NIGHTS; Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks+ up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the unit through the holidays!RTO: 7 days MAX - NO CHRISTMAS RTO; 36 or 48 hours. If 48 then no OT billed until after 48.Call Requirement: Call required if called off on a prescheduled shift.Float Requirement: Floating required to similar units and alternate care locations with inpatients holding, such as inpatient holding in the ED, or any alternate medical patient care location.Weekend Requirement: *EVERY OTHER WEEKEND REQUIRED.Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team.Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster.Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as neededPATIENT DIAGNOSES: General medical-surgical diagnosis primary patient population. Administration of chemotherapy/biotherapy -IV, PO, or injection.SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Daily Census 42.During times of increased census, typical ratios may be higher.Contract staff will be assigned equally to the home unit staff to ensure that patients are covered with a registered nurseLike units includes floating to inpatient holding in the ED, or any alternate medical patient care location.Shifts called out will need to have make up shifts rescheduled.Attendance to monthly staff meetings.UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): PYXIS, EPIC, SBAR.UNIT ORIENTATION: 24 hrs (2 shifts)SCRUBS: Navy Blue and white.Job Requirements

Experience in an inpatient setting is required, Med/Surg, Colostomy care, Accessing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Heparin, Insulin, Chemotherapy Administration, Monitoring Chemotherapy, Surgical drains, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound VacCerts: Chemotherapy administration certification is required prior to start; required to obtain prior to start.Preferred Skills / Certs / Exp: CPI.
